Here it is! Not quite as short, but still cute!My mom doesn't want me to get rid of the red, so i might be doing black chunks soon. we'll see.
The apartment is coming together. We made our first ikea run - we needed more shelves (obviously) and some kitchen solutions because there are only itty bitty cabinets and almost no counter space.
We also got one of those magnetic kitchen knife racks - I've always wanted one!

I think there's some kind of psychological evaluation required for having one of those knife things. You know, questions like "if you were in a horror movie, would you kill your zombie husband/wife with a gun from right there on top of the dresser or run through the whole house to get a huge scary cleaver from the cool magnetic-y rack in the kitchen?" The answer would be VERY reavealing.

Aunt Sandy makes a good point, but I'm in favor of having knives readily available. (you never know when they may come in handy)
